Update: 1.12.0 has fixed this issue.

Update: Newest update (1.12.0) that just released has fixed this issue.

I have played for a while and I must report that the overall performance of the game seems to be improved on my end.

Gameplay feels a lot more smooth with some minor framerate drops but, is playable to me.

So far, I haven’t noticed any temporary freezes that would occur at random during general gameplay.

If I’m not mistaken, Minecraft for Nintendo Switch gets updated around 9:00 PM (Central). I will test out the game later and see if the performance issues have been resolved.

@Ali Djeffal I noticed that you toggled the perspective in the video and I would like add that there is a bug I reported that every time I press the Toggle Perspective (Control Button Up), it will always temporarily freeze. Is anyone else experiencing that particular issue?

You can find the Cached Data in the Storage tab in Settings from the Main Menu.

Same here and indeed.... I’ve noticed the performance slowly getting worse with each coming update....

I’m not seeing any changes or fixes in 1.11.4.... Can anybody confirm that this issue happens with new players that just purchased the game?

Well, I can tell everybody that this performance problem has gotten out of hand so bad that, this issue is even affecting games on the Old size. Also, the issue appears to be on and off.... Sometimes I lag badly, sometimes I don’t.... Obviously, this problem wasn’t too bad before v.1.8.0.

This is happening on an Old size World. It ranges from 1 MB to 2 MB in size.

I know that the Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft has a strict limit of 2 GB but, I should have about 500 or more MB.
