Affects versions 20w20a and 20w20b as well. This is the one bug I want to be fixed, I literally don't use shields because of this bug and it's beginning to really frustrate me.

Affects snapshot 20w08a as well, confirmed by two other users and me.

Oh, heh, nvm. Just tested it again and realized I was using OptiFine 1.8.8 HD U F3 and not vanilla Minecraft! Guess it's a guess from that. False alarm! XD
