I have also been experiencing this problem and what works for me is to set the command block to: repeat, unconditional, needs redstone. Then I type in a random command such as “say hi”. Then I power it using a redstone block and the command block works again meaning it can be switched to whatever type, condition and redstone you want.

This also happens to me and I don’t know why. I’m on iOS too and I am using the latest Minecraft version. This bug happens to every command block I place down but command blocks that were already there before I noticed the bug are completely fine and work properly. I’ve tried restarting Minecraft and my device but the problem is still there. I also tried making copies of the world but that didn’t fix the problem either.
