Thanks for your fast reaction! I beleve it said "you died by a Shulker". But I'm not 100% sure. I died in mid air, so I don't think it was of the fall damage.
What I forgot to mention the first time, the shulker looked a bit different. The spiral which is normaly on the inside of the shell was now on the outside.
I have just checked if I could find the same shulker in a creative world with the same seed, so I could show you a screen shot, but it wasn't there. I have not been able to find it again in the realm where I died. Since I lost my Elytra.
