Confirmed for 1.8.4. I finally know why they weren't showing up....

Name-tag.
EDIT: I know it's a long overdue reply, but... xD
P.S. Affects 1.8.4 as well

No, cause the status would've been changed.

^ Exactly!
I still do not believe it works as intended as well.

^ Minecraft 2.0 is an April Fools' joke…

>__< That means they'll never look at it.

It's only they despawn because they were created using a HOSTILE monster spawner - they are not hostile, are they?
Please think it though, give it a chance 😞

What about wolves though? They can even attack You, but they still spawn on the easiest difficulty.

Could You describe it more? I don't understand...
Besides, the torches on the screenshots DO burn out - some are off!

This applies to villagers as well, they completely ignore fires and I even reported it, but mods closed it as a "feature request". What?? :o

They say mid-November.

Relax mate, take a break in playing MC PE for now, and the update will come out soon.
Jeb doesn't work on Pocket Edition by the way ;]

Why is it invalid? All other mobs do NOT ignore fires!

But these 'larger groups' are actually two (or more) smaller groups of four, merged together. Also, the total number of one mob's specimens is always one of 4's multiples (so 8, 12, etc.), providing further evidence it can only be 4 mobs per group.
Note that they're more likely to spawn in the bunch of no more than 4 on Superflat, every group of friendly mobs You'll encounter will (nearly) always count only 4 of them.
It's just there are no groups of just 1, 2 or 3 mobs, it's always got to be 4 or the multiple of it.
There's no variety of numbers.

You check for updates in the App Store, but the update's NOT even out yet!! Patience!

But it's that annoyances differ from bugs, yet they're still errors/glitches and should have a place to be reported.
Isn't it what we only want? Nothing else.

I don't think You should've closed this; besides, other mods also kind of agree with the person who wrote this, don't they?

Once again, this is NOT a feature request, but okay ;(
