this has been happening often to me. most recently. i fell off the side of my survival world by being in an unloaded chunk, and got trapped. when i tried to fix it by leaving the world and coming back, i got stuck on the saving world screen. i wanted to see if it would resolve itself eventually, but it has been over 2 days and it is still stuck on that screen.
