April 25th. We were playing the "Bees" educational map in Creative mode and entered a nether portal. It hung on the nether "generating terrain" screen so we restarted minecraft. And now it hangs on the minecraft loading screen, just after the Mojang splash screen.

Haven't tried to reinstall it yet since I have no way to back up our save games right now.
