I've noticed this same problem. I'm not sure if there even is an option for the color of grass and foliage, but this definitely should be fixed.

Not resolved by full update today, has remained the same after 1.5 update
I honestly have no idea what is creating the issue but what I meant by lighting issue is that the light isn't supposed to abruptly stop... It's supposed to expand even further than it was in the screenshots. Hope this helps!
Yes the bug still does occur in 0.12.1. Same device iOS 9.1
It it the Samsung Galaxy S3 that has the problem... Not the Note 3.
The shadows are broken below the players and mobs. Sorry for the typo.
Any update on this in 2022? Can confirm this issue is still here on MC 1.18.1 using windows RDP.
