My son has had this happen several times on the first portal in the End having revisited the End to look for more End Cities. Platform: Xbox One, v1.9.0

Apologies for logging this I've only just read your comment that it's fixed in 1.9, I will wait until that version is released.

I've had the same problem 3 times since updating to 1.8.1 on both Xbox and Switch. It's happened on both local worlds and a Realm. Please advise on when this will be fixed as it's making the game unplayable - losing valuable stuff and a lot of XP randomly when starting is unacceptable
