This bug is also happening on Xbox in .20. I made an end map about a month ago and last week a circle of overworld popped into existence on it… the next day there were 2. My report has been closed and added to yours.
This is an Xbox world realm btw.
The cauldron are now collecting snow and it is also building snow in layers as it is meant too. Thx for the fix.
Hi tried it again and it now works in 1.20.22 snow is collecting in the cauldron and building up in layers as it is meant to. Thx for the fix.
Since they keep “ closing” reports I will add my comment here.
Xbox game data on failed to sync worlds is being added to my world save data file and causing errors out of data storage space on both xbox and minecraft, I have 1 realm 1.2 gb world I can sometimes get into and 1 unplayable greyed out world ( my original 9 year old world ). This load will not sync as it gets to 99% then just crashes the game, however I can fully load and play my world on Xbox preview with no issues.
My game in manage games balloons from 3.4 gb to over 11 gb without any game play, it just goes back up/ down without any action from me.
I am again getting constant can’t save data messages.
No I play only play survival so do not touch the menu options. I have collected powdered snow previously in the exact same spot on the 1.18 build. Since the 5/10 update nearly everything is broken on Xbox.
I have the exact same issue. It will not even try to sync.
minecraft help told me it was an Xbox issue, Xbox tell me it’s absolutely a minecraft issue but no one wants to help.
Extra info. The offending terrain appears to be 4 chunks wide, mostly savanna/ desert/ zombie villages and goes on infinitly. I even saw a swamp zombie running around. I am at 2000 blocks away from my original spawn point where nothing has changed. One end of my mega mineshaft is now blocked by new bedrock which is higher than the original max level as I strip mine on the bedrock. The world is still playable which if corrupted would not be. My maps no longer work but my compasses do. The nether seems unaffected. I am not risking a trip to the void.
I have just found bedrock above level 0 ! A zombie village planted on top of a custom village destroying hundreds of hours of landscaping and building! This is an 8 year old survival world! I can’t load a previous save as Xbox cloud will update it to this monstrosity!
Sue happened to me today with 2 full shucker boxes. I am equally not amused.
As of 2025 I have now deleted my beloved world as I could not look at that greyed out version anymore. It was also taking up “ save space” once again so I dreaded the “can’t save no storage space error” popping up again and ruining another world. I wish wish you all luck with your worlds.
