Thanks for your replies. Yes, just to make sure I followed the steps Christina descirbes once more and in addition I deleted the Mojang folder from My Files after uninstalling Minecraft. Unfortuntately it didn't solve the problem.

Still doesn't work here: Samzung Galaxy Tab, SM-T113, Android 4.4.4.
