I wasn't even trying to make a nether farm, I just had my portal in the open and some cows must have gone through and even if I go through the nearby ruined portal the game still crashes so I think this makes it so you can't access the nether at all. It's such a surprise Mojang ignored this for 4 versions.

This needs to be fixed soon, because of this bug I am unable to get any of the new stuff from the nether and can not experience any of the new nether update in my survival world I can't believe a bug preventing players from accessing the nether has not been fixed when the focal point of the update is the revamped nether.
