I'm experiencing this same issue as of just minutes ago.

Issue abated for about 5 minutes... then persisted.

Issue persists.
Closed app and re-opened. NO CHANGE.
Un-installed, and power cycled device.  Re-installed. NO CHANGE

No other Android apps showing degraded experience.

 

Began occurring 4 days ago immediately after prompted to "Update Realms" in gave UI.

 

Was resolved temporarily for about 1 hour at approximately 4:45 PM, USA MST but was abruptly disconnected from server along with other members of my Realm at precisely the same time.

 

Issue has NOT been resolved.  Multiple bugs reported prior (12019, 12020, 12023...)

 

The community needs to see some

"Quality - At SCALE" in response to this issue. 

 

We  LOVE you Mojang.  Do what you need to do on this.  We're cheering for you. 

Came up for approximately 1 hour around 4:45 USA MST

 

Then... issue recurrent and persisting.
