So I tested and realized that it does work. The reason I thought it was a bug is that, when eating only a few slices, it would not regen health. But now I realize it's only because the individual slices don't give enough saturation. Eating a whole cake does give a small regen boost.
Thanks
I did search, but didn't find it. Maybe I didn't search enough. Anyway thanks.
Even though this may be intended, there is one issue here.
Every spruce log is in the same corner for every tree, making all the mega taiga trees look weird together.
So the fact that all the logs are in the same corner, must be a bug and should be fixed.
Sorry, I deleted the world, but I found another zombie village seed online.
Seed: -1469446201797389856
Coords: -1000 75 -150
Thanks for letting me know
Okay, I just did some more testing and the enchantments and names are staying again. The issue was fixed, but it started happening again. The other day when I was doing my testing just before creating this issue, this was happening. But now I check and it's not? So I don't know what is going on here.
If you know why glitches seem to come and go in the same versions please let me know.
Here are some more details. I think you have to be out of the water in creative and hit a dolphin that is underwater. Then they will try attacking.
I did not know this, okay.
This is still a problem, but now (of maybe it always was like this) it's happening in the creative toolbar, containers, player inventory and tame inventory.
Enchantments are lost, and custom names become {"text":"name of item"}
This relates to another issue I created.
Thanks for taking the time to attend this situation.
This is weird, because today I opened the newest snapshot 18w21a and the game opens normally. I tested this in the 18w20c and it's also now opening properly. I also tested on the 18w19b and 18w16a and they are also now opening quickly. So I'm thinking this might have been resolved?
Two notes I do want to mention though, in the released versions of minecraft upon the launcher closing, it at most takes 2 seconds for the game to open. Now after 18w21a it's opening quickly. But I'm finding that it's taking at most 3 seconds to open the game. So it's working good now, but still seems to be taking 1 second longer to open.
Second thing I want to say is besides the point, but through out all the snapshot versions my mouse sensitivity has been wacky. I would have to turn down the mouse sensitivity in the controls to 80% to get to roughly normal speed. But in this same snapshot 18w21a my mouse is normal again. (Thought I would just mention this.)
I have two things to say.
1. If this is caused by downloading; there still is something wrong here. Because this does not happen in other versions of minecraft. In other versions I hit play, and the game opens immediately. But in the snapshots it takes a while.
2. This happens every time I open the game. (This second point, I'm not sure if it has any kind of impact on the situation. But it sure is affected by it.)
Meaning there is something happening here that is not right. Please do consider what I say and see if you can do anything about it.
It does not crash, it just takes a while to open. But I can give the launcher_log.txt
I opened the game and taking the launcher_log.txt out of my .minecraft and linking it here.
(PS. I don't really understand what the launcher_log is saying.)
No, what is being communicated here is that the long stripes in the iron ore texture (on the top and left side in the screenshot) clash with the stripes on the two sides of the ore. The other two sides don't clash due to the stripes because they are facing the same orientation (texture on the right side of iron ore in the screenshot).
