Upon checking the VPN symbol, the VPN was never on in the first place, I can click on the button to turn it on, but I hadn't turned it on before.

I am currently using Windows 10 and my browser is Opera GX (in opera GX you can choose different browsers to use, I use DuckDuckGo), which doesn't cause any problems when downloading Java edition, so I will try turning my VPN off.

Believe me, I have no idea what's up, but now I cannot reproduce the bug. Sorry. Has no one else experienced this? Maybe it was just a shadow glitch and had nothing to do with the water or the snapshot.

As requested by a Mod @Kumasasa I have uploaded the crash report as soon as I saw the bug again. I took the second screenshot at the moment before I forced a crash. It happened as soon as I started the world in this case, but I should note that the first time I experienced the glitch, I saw it on every pool of water, and I saw it multiple times throughout the course of my hour or so of gameplay.
