Two days ago I found diamonds, yesterday the game wouldn't load. Its one of the best things about my fire is playing Minecraft on it. It happened exactly like you said. I have the same kindle. Not even half of my storage is being used and I definitely dont run background applications while playing (that's what my phone is for lol). I hope they fix this bug quick!
