Also, i dont know if this is relevant or not but the version of minecraft im playing on the PS4 is the one on the playstation store.

Yes, it seems to still be an issue however slightly harder to replicate

 

When i played this world in 1.18.12 grass was definitely not as noisy as in this new version

 

Also, i dont see why playing servers are a risk to children, just put on a no-chat texture pack or something and your child will not see any bad words or any words even

Im sorry, but child protection request is a feature request as your kid accesing servers are intentional, please post kindly to mojangs feedback website and you might have the feature implemented as an xbox security measure

Note: bug has been here since lush blocks were first introduced, however i thought it was gonna get fixed because beta, maybe not.

Note: a normal unripened cave vine wouldnt do the same thing

The same issue applies to tall grass generating in lush caves, they just have the bottom

Can confirm in 1.16.200 and 1.16.201

The resource pack im using is called classic vanilla, you can find it in the free app called addons.
