Been having the same issue as well recently. Don't know why, it just started doing that a month or two ago. Really frustrating when you want to play the game, yet it crashes your entire console, virtually making the game unplayable.
I am in agreeance with Ayoze Noda Gomez and Elijah Ison. Switching Minecraft to the 1080p resolution fixes this issue. It is kind of disappointing how we have to figure this out for ourselves. I think this might be that 4K throttles Minecraft's graphics engine and causes the Xbox One X to crash. I appreciate everyone's help!
