I am on the newest update for iOS and the 1.16.100 Minecraft bedrock update and it doesn't work for me either, and it hasn't ever worked for me 😞
This bug only happened to me after the recent 1.16.1 update in bedrock for ios
We are all on the same platform, IOS, with both of my siblings playing on the newest iPads and myself playing on the iPad mini 4. We all have the recent update for Bedrock. They seem to be fine with joining their friends (and their friends joining them). This only seems to be a problem with them joining me or me joining them, for some reason, even though we all have very similar devices. I don't believe any of us have beta.
I even tried going out and back into my account, turning fully off and back on my device, and getting out and back in to Minecraft. None of these seemed to do anything, btw.

I am playing on an iPad mini 4, and that issue is about baby villagers
I did not have this problem until yesterday after the new update. I have Bedrock on IOS 14.1 btw. I believe they may even despawn, though, as now all of the villagers seem to be missing, replaced by a large group of brown villagers who all stood around one house saying "hmm" and apparently doing nothing, although there were countless job opportunities available. If there are two beds and a villager is laying on one of them in a weird position, the other villager can't lay on the other bed.
IKR! There were just, like, 50 nonworking villagers all standing next to each other going "HMMMMMMM" as if they were confused as to why all of the other villagers were gone XD
It seems to be working now, though it does still take a while for my game to load. Thank you for your time and consideration with this issue!
