I'm having the same issue in 1.5.0. But have any of you guys recently copied or transferred your worlds? I recently copied my world to do some testing. And since then my friend hasn't joined. But now that he has joined after making a copy the player data is all screwed up. And whenever we enter the same chunk it crashes the world.

The only thing I haven't tried is running it on a different Xbox with the same account. Which I can't do because I don't have another Xbox.

Has anyone found a solution yet because I've tried just about everything and at this point I'm just waiting for the devs to say they fixed it

I have this same problem. I've tried multiple resets. Multiple times uninstalling and reinstalling. Installing to external and internal hard drives. Leaving and rejoining the beta in the insider hub. Using wired and wireless connections. All my other games and apps run normally. The game simply won't work on my console at all. Please I need a solution to this.
