I heard the reason why they are not breeding is because the employed villager prioritize working over breeding too much and will end up rarely breeding. To fix your breeder you have to have more villagers breeding and only have one farmer to feed your other villagers. The unemployed villagers should breed faster.

This isn't the console version and this feature was confirmed in the past to be "working as intended."

This issue is also occurring on my smp spigot server. I've had cows, villagers, item frames, name tagged zombies, and mine carts also disappear. I did noticed however that they only seem to disappear within specific chunks. Like I noticed that the item frames that did disappear were all in one chunk while others were randomly left untouched. I also would like to mention that not all of the entities in my base disappeared. Some of the villagers that were in other chunks did not disappear and not all of the item frames disappeared either.
