I have this problem as well. Some spawners are completely empty (no flames). Some spawners have flames but aren't spawning mobs. This is for a world created in version 10. If I use the same seed to create a new world the spawners have both flames and spawn mobs.
This might be the same issue as MCPE-10819.
I have the exact same issue. I am able to create survival and creative worlds. I am able to open creative worlds. I am not able to open my only survival world. It was working on 10.5.

MC crashes when I open a survival world that I created in 0.11.0.
I had an HTC 8 with this problem. Clicking on the hanger icon on the home screen to change my skin caused MCPE to crash. While following the suggestion from @sehyum-kim I noticed that the existing custom.png was 0 bytes. Perhaps this is the real problem? Following the instructions did allow me to customize my skin.
