The game crashes/closes at the Minecraft logo on my wife's iPad Mini. She does not use custom/extra content or even an XBox account.
Yes, Windows 10 and Android (Kindle Fire) seem to be working in my house, but iOS is broken.
Agree with Sarah G. We basically canceled Minecraft at home this weekend because my wife's iPad Mini can't run the game, and my wife doesn't want to reinstall the game and risk losing data. We run 100% vanilla, with me on Windows 10, my wife on an iPad Mini, and the kids on Kindle Fire HD's.
This is also happening to my wife on her iPad Mini.
The app closes itself / crashes on my wife's iPad Mini after showing the Mojang and Minecraft logos.
My wife is having this same issue on her iPad Mini. The game crashed a lot in previous versions, but now she can't even get to the main menu.
1.5.2 seems to be working on my wife's iPad Mini now (at least to the main menu). It did say that global resources were reset and that a crash was detected - I'm assuming that's expected as part of the recovery from 1.5.1 not working.
