This glitch is also in 1.8-pre2 and 1.8-pre3 I am using launcher 1.5.2
you don't get a crash report on 14w08a but you still can't join
well, it sometimes works but most of the time no it doesn't.
If you download the screenshot and open it then it will work.

it doesn't work when you are running the server on the console
on the regular gui it is fine.
I have noticed that to. and i don't know why.
when I do it on the snapshot I can't hear anything.
