Thanks, I will check that, but I read today that Mojang is going to stop allowing mobs to spawn from the nether into the overworld. If I read correctly, it sounds like such gold farms will no longer work. Do you know of that is correct?

I am not sure what kind of detail you will need, but here goes.  Pigmen are spawned in the overworld and sent into a 2x2 killing chamber surrounded by 4 observer/piston pairs powered by redstone torch. A trident is thrown into one of the pistons first and the pistons actuated for a time.  Under one of the 2x2 blocks is a minecart, which is attached to a hopper, which is in turn attached to a sorter system.  The problem is that once a pigman is killed, his drops just float above the blocks instead of being absorbed in to the minecart and hopper.  I also tried replacing the minecart with another hopper, and I tried replacing the block with a slab.  Note that this design has always worked in version 1.18, and when I first started using the beta (1.19.24?) I used a world I had created in 1.18 with the same gold farm design, and it worked at that time.  Now, however, Minecraft does not even recognize the world file.  If this is not sufficient, please let me know what else you would need.

I am having this issue in a mob farm I build at a high elevation (Y=197) over a frozen mountain top (in version 1.19.24.  I tried a 1.18 world in beta that was almost as high (about 190) over an ocean, and the spawn rate for skeletons is just as it was in version 1.18.

This issue was previously reported in MCPE-83426

I have never experienced this issue in 1.18 but it happens all the time in version 1.19 beta.  I reported a second bug MCPE-13426 before I saw this one, which I thought had been resolved.  It also sometimes happens going the other way, from inventory to chest.

I have this problem. The boat seems to reappear if I move to another chunk and return.

I have this problem using 1.18.2 on Windows 10.  I use several devices, including one with the Android version.  For a few days it happened only on one specific device and now I see it on all.  It did not help to edit my character. Also, could not reload character in Android by going into "Dressing Room" because the previous characters did not load but just kept circling.
