MCPE-171417 Hopper looks huge in hand on inventory screen Duplicate

I haven't tried the video, but I posted September 29, 2022. I'm still subscribed to the thread, though, so I thought I'd add some things I've experienced since then. The Xbox One that I was having Minecraft Bedrock issues started having functional issues unrelated to Minecraft, so I replaced it with the newer model Xbox Series X. I was terrified that my worlds weren't going to be in the cloud because of all the world upload failures. When I loaded up the game on the new Xbox, there was this list of saved games that all said "copy of" a filename. These turned out to be my worlds from the old Xbox. Also, everything in the game loaded up fast. It runs the game very fast, too. I've been pushing it like crazy to see if I can make it stutter or break and it hasn't. Like a huge iron farm, massive amounts of hoppers, etc., all in one chunk. After a few months of using it, sometimes it says world upload failed for a second but then goes on with it.

Here's my takeaway. Minecraft is moving on from working on things that can function on older Xbox devices. I'm not sure that applies to other devices, though. That doesn't relieve them from a duty of care to let its users know that's what's happening, though. We need a clear method of seeing and working with our cloud storage. Most of us don't know how much we have so that we can manage it. We just get a file list. Most of us are not capable of easily doing things in complicated videos, even though I'm grateful for this community sharing them. I also understand that the crew that makes changes to the game for us have superiors to answer to in what's up next for the game. If you're listening, thank you for your hard work, but we really need help with this problem. Please.

Same issue. I'm on 1.19.30. Xbox One bedrock, no mods. For the first few days it started going sideways, I'd hit "retry" but I only had to hit it once. It would ask me again for a second retry, but if I hit it everything went incredibly sluggish. If I didn't, it eventually acted as if it saved, but I couldn't tell if it completed its cloud save with local save or if it was local save only. It would go to the file screen with no status message regarding its save status.

After a few days, its behavior went from hit retry once and wait to now it just re-tries over and over. As much as I hated to do it, I hit cancel. I reloaded my save and it was not corrupted. The problem is I'm not sure it loaded from the cloud or local storage. I'm assuming that the autosave did it its best to keep that file up to date...somewhere.

Additionally, once that whole save mess happens, it goes all stuttery. The change between the game save area and the file save causes the in-motion, biome panning backgrounds to stutter. If I don't wait, I can wind up hitting the wrong buttons if I start pressing them. I think that I'm hitting the edit button next to a save file, but suddenly I'm creating a new world because it's moved my selection choice to the save file menu's top again.
