I fail to see how this is resolved. We can set the direction of all other blocks, ex stairs, trap doors, etc.. doors are still snapping in undesired directions, it's quite annoying to have one door with the hinges on the wrong side, that will not place correctly no matter what I do.
Well isn't that interesting... they look so similar I could not tell, thank you @Marty McFly
Interestingly, had @Avoma not taken the typical dev response initially and looked for any reason they could to immediately invalidate/close the report rather than look to see if the issue reported was correct, it would've saved us all some time today.
That behavior is a major turnoff for people wanting to report things and try to help the devs and the game. I was wrong in this instance, which I can admit, but so was Avoma in the way they responded, and I still have not received an apology for that, nor an explanation as to how my info mods would've caused an issue like the one I thought I was experiencing.
I'm waiting @Avoma , for my apology. I also hope your boss sees the lazy way you're approaching "helping" people.
Uh oh, you have a modified xp bar resource pack on, @Avoma is gonna invalidate your report. (I hope this is sarcasm, but they are using this reasoning to invalidate legit reports, it's insane laziness).
Ok @Avoma , what will you use to get out of investigating the bug this time? I created a new instance, even gave you my F3 screen so you can see 0 mods are running.
I'd also like an apology for your insane reasoning for invalidating this bug, as well as an explanation as to how info mods would stop a renamed mob from flipping.

Because I have info mods? ROFL! Ok, I'll create a new world right now and upload pics.
I must say, I find it disgusting that Mojang would try anything, even trying to blame an info mod on broken mob behavior. That's pure dev laziness.
I'll be right back with more proof.
Getting this upon server startup, 1.16.5:
Trying to add entity with duplicated UUID 291dfbec-2b7b-4c2b-9899-f665ea53af5d. Existing minecraft:armor_stand#22, new: minecraft:armor_stand#23
Years later and still no fix to this issue that several other games have fixed?
I'm really beginning to wonder if Mojang has any say in what they do or if M$ is just pulling all the strings at this point.
