Madison, I am honestly stumped about the items issue. I tried to recreate the scenario you described, but the items didn’t disappear. Definitely sounds like a bug, though. As for the skins, have you tried doing it multiple times? Because for PE it’s typically the Alex skin, but 1/5 times it will be the Steve one. It could very well be up to chance. I would test this, but I sadly don’t have an Xbox One. Did you download it today on the Xbox, or update it before playing for the first time? If so, that could indicate that the new update is behind this.

I’ve had the skin issue as well (haven’t died yet so I can’t say for that one). It does the skin-changing thing upon opening the game each and every time. However, it could just be because of the latest update, as it has never happened before and only started after I updated the game today. Changing the skin keeps it that way until the game is closed, but the process has to be repeated each time it’s opened once more.

As for your items, was this in a realm or a world? If it’s a realm, sometimes stuff can despawn even if no one is there. If it’s a world, then that’s quite a mystery.
