The same thing happened to me. I'm playing on Windows 10 on my laptop. I mined the bell with a silk touch diamond pickaxe because I didn't know if I had to or not. It went into my inventory and I didn't think about it. When I went to take it out of my inventory I couldn't. When I clicked on it the bell would glitch and show that there were two bells but I couldn't move it. I tried to move it by putting different objects into the bell slot but it just made them disappear. The bell image was in that slot but when I clicked on it the other item showed up. But when I tried to place the item I had just taken out of the bell slot in any other slot it would disappear and would be back in the bell slot. Or it would be in the slot I placed it but there was no image on the slot, when I clicked the same slot again the item would just appear on my cursor. I couldn't drop the bell or the other items that had went into the bell slot by using my drop item shortcut or dragging outside of my inventory. I killed myself by falling from high up to see if I could pick it up after I died. I picked it up again but it was still glitched. It was still showing that there were two bells when I clicked on it and it couldn't be moved in any way or dropped. I tried again just because and the bell disappeared.
