They marked it as resolved because they were duplicates of this one. they only need one ticket per issue so it is easier to track the number of people affected.
Experiencing the same issue. Have a laptop that uses the Intel integrated Graphics 4000. Ran with decent FPS in 1.5.2 however after the update get extremely low FPS.
Have not tested this myself, however other users have reported that this is an issues with the launcher and not the game itself. Even if they load the previous Minecraft version with the current launcher they still encounter the FPS issue.

The second post by kobayashimaru350 here worked for me. (Its my post so I'm the only person I know it worked for. )
