Hello, I am looking for the same bug.

Whenever I navigate to the Minecraft text input screen while using Google Japanese INPUT, the game crashes.

If I switch to another input method, such as Microsoft IME, this does not happen anymore.

[To reproduce this bug, please follow these steps]

1. Download Google Japanese Input
   https://www.google.co.jp/ime/

2. Switch IME to Google Japanese Input

3. Launch Minecraft for Windows

4. Open text entry screens (add server screen, chat screen, etc.).

5. Game crashes
