I am so glad I found this post because I thought I was going mad by myself!!! I had to stop reading what everyone was saying because there were so many posts and clearly so many people affected by this bug but my favourite thing to read was that Microsoft can dedicate as much money to this issue as they want to...... because it’s true!! Microsoft bought this game and if this is the kind of service one of the most popular games in the world gets it makes me wonder why the heck they even did so in the first place???
I have ave all the same issues as everyone else does..... taking too long to open boxes and trades, lag spikes.... just the lag is so bad it drives me nuts.... the frame rate will drop and it’s so choppy you just want to throw your controller at the tv! I place a block and sometimes it just won’t show up for 16 seconds... sometimes I place ten blocks and they all show up, but then a few seconds later? Every single block in the last couple of seconds I placed all disappear in reverse order of me placing them!
Also my cats are going nuts, sliding around on their butts in a sitting position! They don’t even scare away creepers. It’s so upsetting!!!! Why did I even bother to buy this game?
and don’t tell me to complain on discord! You know what happens there? They tell you to shut up! ‘We know there is an issue there has been one for a long time so talking here doesn’t do anything to help’ is what they say. So where can users go??— ? I have seen in this post people mention things like hotfixes or even just having staff at mojang come to explain the problem or talk to us...... this is clearly an issue we have had for months!!!! And if it is like you say and there is ‘no easy fix so this might take awhile’ then WHY CANT COMEONE FROM MOJANG COME AND TALK TO THE COMMUNITY??
seriouslt why is community outreach so bad??? Microsoft has unlimited resources but minecraft has better communication back in the day of notch and his tiny team? It’s unacceptable!!! I’m losing money on my realm for ANOTHER month! Are you guys going to refund me? Is Nintendo? NO! So why am I wasting money? I won’t make this mistake next month......
The issue is so bad for me too!!! I have been looking to see if other users have had issues since the update and I see now a lot of people have had issues for even longer!!! My game goes sooooo slow out of nowhere, occasionally freezes, and then every so often right after you’ve spent tons of time in the game it just completely freezes and you have to exit and restart the entire game just to get it to work again which doesn’t even matter cuz it takes ages to even LOAD the game!! Its so bad on the switch which I bought because my laptop runs the game so terribly but if Mojang can’t make this game run better on the Switch a brand new console with new hardware compared to my crappy Asus from 2008, idk what to do!!
Also as many users are I am also desperate for a fix so I tried muting the chat as was mentioned here but of course it didn’t do anything for me..... things are just as bad as before....
