I really hope this is changed because it is really annoying. A command block is not another player, so why should it not show up? When I am offline, the /say command works when I type it myself, just not in a command block. The /say command only works in a command block if I am in wifi and not if I am using data.

I have also experienced this problem. It is especially annoying when trying to use command blocks as it will not activate the /say command. Also, it will not allow me to use the /say command in a command block if I am not in wifi, even if I have data turned on. The error message is the same as mentioned in this post. My mcpe version is 1.0.5
