Hi, I have the exact same issue. I tried to sign my daughter up for an Xbox live account and then log her in on her iPhone 6 but it gets stuck on the loading screen and then crashes (closes the app). When I went to try Minecraft on my iPhone X same thing happened. It gets stuck on the loading screen and then crashes.
I should clarify, it was when I logged her into her xbox live account on her phone that the problem started on both her phone and mine.
