This happened to me too. The sudden death was so surprising because I usually have some sort of warning beforehand but I died so quickly I couldn't tell I was hit until the death message.

I haven't noticed lava disappearing yet but then I haven't been doing any fancy redstone stuff lately either so it's probably related to one of the redstone items. Maybe the piston or repeaters have a glitch.

I've been having this problem with villagers not growing up. Because they don't grow up, they also never breed.

I came on to this website to report this exact same bug. I have tons of baby villagers that haven't grown up in hours. I really hope this issue gets fixed!
