Same for me. Just the moving Nether Update Picture. No menu.

Same on my Win 10 PC. No UI/ Main Starting Menu. Just blank rotating Nether update screen. rebooted. Uninstalled, reinstalled. made sure drivers were updated. 4+ hours of troubleshooting to no avail.
CPU: Intel i7 2.8GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon r7 370
