Issue not resolved.

Same problems keep having the same error over and over again on PS5. My daughter plays for hours sometimes and can't save her worlds then loses the entire world because it's corrupted. Some of these worlds she's been playing for years and she loses them completely. Already deleted and reinstalled the game and whatnot and try everything else. Are you guys ever going to fix this or should we just delete this game indefinitely?

I submitted the bug as requested above and was told to make sure the game saves were backed up and to uninstall and reinstall Minecraft. It solved the issue. I was hoping that today’s Minecraft update would solve the issue but it didn’t. But uninstalling and reinstalling fixed to the issue and I did not lose any of the saved worlds. I tested this by making a new world, building a small home and setting a respawn point at a bed. I then saved and quit. The game properly saved without getting hung up. I was able to re-enter the world and everything worked as it should.

Restarting my PlayStation does not fix the issue. My PlayStation and Minecraft are up-to-date. This issue started after the most recent update. Cannot save any newly created worlds or pre-existing worlds. It is frozen on the saving icon and the only thing you can do is force close again. All progress is lost.
