The new Mounts of Mayhem drop/update has not fixed my issue. First launch it fully loaded and I was able to browse through servers, but upon trying to connect to a server it crashed. And now when I relaunch it crashes when loading my skin and loading my username just like before
I apologize if jumping into the conversation is outside of protocol or disruptive, but I am having the same exact issue as described and shown in the video Timothy attached.

I don’t know if it is helpful to answer your question meant for Timothy, but (I hope) there's no harm in trying since our issues are so similar. I was able to find my own Minecraft Application Error and the adjacent “Windows Error Reporting” event on my end:
