Even though this is a bug i feel mojang should leave this in until after new years

Well when I downloaded it and changed the "save as", it only lets me change from compressed zip and all files.
When I rename it becomes "minecraft.jar.zip". If the download would have the jar extension in the zip that should work for me and others with this problem.
