Justin here is a member of my server, and we all are facing this issue since 15w42. So we have done our best to stay out of the Nether. Hopefully this can be resolved!
Since it was a random occurence, I would have no steps to replicate it.
Havent gotten any feedback in awhile, was this fixed in 15w44a?

Yes, but my game (or the server) did not crash. I can try and find the log files if that's what you want.
