This also happens to me if I use my Intel HD 4000, however if I switch to the other videocard in my machine which is a Radeon(unsure what model) it's fine.
This also happened to me. However 2 of my item frames (out of 4 in my world), didn't pop off but just disappeared with the items too (Iron Ingot and another item that I forget). They were all on chests if it helps.
