I tried /reload again and this time it didn’t work. This bug seems really inconsistent.

I should add that the miscoloration of the mob inside spawners applies not just to slimes, but any mob. Spawners, trial spawners, and ominous trial spawners are all affected.

Magma cubes are fine.

It gets weirder. The eyes on the slime inside the spawner render from the INSIDE as I clip into it in spectator. This remains true for the regular slimes as well. So it’s just that you can’t see the eyes from the outside. lmao

Here’s a close-up of the miscolored slime.

Here’s an example of the miscolored spawner, if you look closely, the slime inside it is blue. This only seems to occur at the same time that the slimes lose their faces. I was flying around trying to recreate this bug, and no clear action I took triggered this. The only thing I did was fly back into the area, but I had already tested loading and unloading the chunks and it had no bearing on the glitch.

It seems that logging back into a world also resets their faces.

Running /reload seemed to give them their faces back.

I’ll try to further identify what is going on here, but it seems pretty inconsistent so far. As a side note, the entity models inside trial spawners seem to be rendering off-color, I need to check if that’s a known issue as well…

Okay, this is bizarre. They spawned with faces, I made that comment, went back, and they lost their faces. I feel like I’m going insane.

I found a slime spawner trial chamber in a new creative world, and this bug is not present. I cannot figure why this is possibly happening in my survival world.

Strangely, I cannot seem to recreate this in creative mod with manually placed monster spawners or trial spawners. The survival world in which i encountered this bug was originally created in, I believe, 25w21a.

I just opened a creative world, and this bug was not present. It may be related to specifically slimes spawned from trial spawners.
