I had thought it was a bug because I wasn't aware you still needed to add the port to 'localhost:xxxxx' like that, I am still a little new to actually making servers and no guide is ever perfect for describing every detail. I apologize as well for not quite knowing where this should go. I just wasn't quite sure where the best place to get some help would be and I was fairly certain I was following each guide I saw as correctly as I could but it still wasn't working right. Thank you though for guiding me where I should go to though.
Well thank you for nothing. A simple "did you make sure to add the port to 'localhost'?" would have resolved this issue properly instead of just saying "invalid go away" basically. Even though I found help in on area provided.
I am not making them as the server is running. I close the server, change the port number then open it back up, the connection refuses on any port but default. As you can see in the pictures the cmd window displays which port I am running on at that time and I am fairly certain you cannot just change it while it's running and it display like that. Although I have not tried I would believe that is the case. I am certain I have the other ports open but the connection refuses. I do not see how this is technical support related exactly. I would see this as a bug as it works on one port but I want to use another and on any other it just refuses. If I can't find help there I'd consider you look into it as it would be very inconvenient to someone wanting to use a different port for a different server and run into this same issue.
Can you explain what you mean by setting the client to the port? If you mean set it to where it shows in the cmd window as using it then yes it shows the port as the one I want to set it to but it does not work.
Similar issue found by 1.15.1. The server says it starts on the correct port, I use a port checker and it confirms it's open, I use 'localhost' to connect on the same machine and it does not connect. It only functions currently on 25565 port.
Parrots seem to affect all projectiles from player when they are on the player's shoulder as well. Present in 1.16.100. I did a little more testing and this seems to only be present with parrots that are NOT owned by the player.
