I had the crash issue: every time I logged into any world it crashed almost instantly, but I solved it just by turning off the option "Use VBOs". I always played Minecraft with that option turned off, but updating to 1.10 has put that thing on without my knowledge, so I didn't know what was wrong. My Intel (R) HD Graphics is one of those graphic cards that can't stand the VBOs feature. Be aware when you update the game, because it automatically changes your video settings options very often.
