Examples of what I mean.
The mid blue colour previously was transparent, leaving what looked like a floating keyboard.
Also judging from the fact I've now realised all blocks not intended to have transparancy now do this, that its not actually a bug. I'm guessing it was done to prevent the "X-ray" vision you can get from some texturepacks?
Hopefully however this could possible be reversed for the blocks it doesn't directly effect? Including carpets, buttons, etc? 🙂
the blocks seem to remain solid into the distance (render distance set to max)
they are however transparent in the inventory / hand
They definately seem related but causing different effects due to hardware / software perhaps?
I've noticed indeed that all blocks have this effect for me. (i.e. any block that shouldn't be transparent, but is because of my texture pack)
