I have exactly the same issue.
Here's the thing. I don't think it's getting reported because the app doesn't shut down. It's still on. It's more like it restarts.
I've tried for a week to fix this and I've been told the only way to save my world's is to root my Android device, which potentially wreck it.
There are like 5 other reports of this same bug but are deemed invalid because everyone if given the same old story.
"Crashes are automatically reported. Then why has this issue been going on for a year?
For heaven's sake. Look into it already. Tons of people want to save their world's and transfer them to. Another decide but can't because of this glitch.
I would consider this a not a bug but a lack of feature completness. Wandering Traders sell every other sapling and seed so it is expected for them to sell bamboo as well.
