Experiencing the same issue. Makes the mechanic of maps completely unplayable.
Discovered my first map and found treasure.
Discovered my second map and it was pointed tot the same place. Assumed random occurrence. Could not find second treasure in the same area.
Discovered third and forth map, all pointed to the same location. Gave up looking after that.
