Sorry about that! I also just updated the game to the newest version, and the issue still does not go away if everyone logs off for a while. I went back to the location, and I could still hear the sound of the fire.
Experienced it twice on a bedrock realm too. However, this resulted from my friends and I burning down a village house to reconstruct it somewhere else. After burning the building, the fire noise can still be heard, walking into the fires' previous places will result in burning, and what OP mentions occurs too.
