@NathanWolf hi budy, yes he was named. I even dropped him an item to play with tolower the chance of despawn. Did not help. And they are for sure despawning, since there is no message in the chat about the dolphin dying.
So, I did everything I could, checked all the advice, but literally nothing was helping. If I moved more than 50 blocks, the dolphin just died. I was trying to finish “How did we get here,” and it took me 3 days to find out about this bug.
