For sure still an issue. I just built a large trading hall and have cycled through at least 1000 trades. No trident books. Please fix

I will keep it short. I don't know how the pillager mechanics are supposed to function. I can say that I have never seen so many patrols. It happens about every 20 minutes for me. Hard to play the game when all you do is defend raids.
